What a motley group of wacky characters we get to meet at this isolated café located on highway 101! The first 40 minutes make it seem like this film is going to be some kind of endless farce. In the days when this film was released, you went to the theatre and stuck with the film. If you gave up and left, well you would have to wait another week for another film. Today, with this film, I’ll bet loads of people get exasperated by the corniness and take the DVD out of the machine and get something a little more reasonable. If you stick with it, the story changes from buffoonery into mayhem and danger.
