The Who's 1973 rock opera is adapted into this perceptive 1979 film version, which emphasizes the progression of Jimmy (Phil Daniels) from zonked-out Mod to adulthood. Great songs by the Who & other artists make up the soundtrack. Much better than the 1975 Tommy film!
