A bit over the top when it comes to 'interchangeable" twins. Story based upon premise that initial murder inquiry was conducted by incompetent investigators.

An engaging family murder mystery involving twins, DNA, and genetic intrigue. Well written and never boring.

Because it's written by Scott Turow, it's a decent book. However, it's far from his best. Perhaps too complicated. I found myself flipping past pages, something that I don't do with other Turow books. I think that, because he's a lawyer,…

It's a pretty good read. I'd highly recommend it to anyone seeking a mystery-thriller. It's a real treat for someone who's bored with John Grisham.

There was a lot in this book to keep one riveted but Turow seems to have deliberately slowed the pace. I believe that Turow's focus was creating and depicting characters and their relationships that would be credible, believable and…

Somewhat agree with Russ below. Find there is a lot of 'plot' in the book but there is no comic relief and there is so much focus on the clues and drama of life that we never feel the characters are more than ponds and not flawed humans.

This is vintage Scott Turow, with the usual strong and weak points. I found the DNA detail fascinating. It’s come a long way since I learned about RFLP in the FBI Academy. Turow is among the smartest and best educated of modern mystery…

A breezy read. But not one of Turow's best.

Not very good. Characters and their motivations were not believable and far fetched. It was like solving a puzzle with no real human emotion involved. I liked other Turow books a lot more.

Way too long and filled with minute details that got boring after a while. The only interesting thing, for me, was the info about identical twins, their DNA, finger prints, etc.

Starts off well, but soon become too far-fetched. Not up to the high standard of Turow's earlier novels.

This was a god book. I would love to read more on the same lines as this one. It kept me wondering all the way to the end.

Way off Turow's high standard. Disappointing for those of us who are Turow fans....

For some reason I could not get into this book. The characters were all dry and wooden and unlikeable. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

A solid 4 stars with lots of twist and turns. great story line. Can use a little more editing, page after page of details with no bearing on the story.
