Seems like a blatant rip-off of the early books in the Mercy Thompson series with the remote alpha set up in a house with the estranged female not at home but close enough if needed. All the sex scenes are either juvenile with people…

My absolute favorite series and this is the first installment. It is not like the TV show, it's better. So if you tried the show, don't give up on the book. The characters are amazing and the style of this series is the best. You're in the…

While I started out moderately disliking Elena, by the end of the book I loathed her. I never liked Clay, who really does read as a psychopath, as Elena calls him in the book - normally, I hate it when people use mental health terms in…

This book started my passion for paranormal fiction and kept me engaged with The Otherworld series. Bitten perfectly captures Elena's struggle of being the only female werewolf in a male dominated society, coming to terms with her…

Bitten is a 436 page book, by Kelley Armstrong. I rate this book 4 stars. Overall it was a very fun read, and I enjoyed reading it. Our main character is Elena Michaels, the only female werewolf. After being bitten, she takes years to…

I borrowed this book as a part of the library's "blind date with a book" promotion. I admit it is a book I would have never chosen if it hadn't been in wrapping paper. I found myself thoroughly entertained and pleasantly surprised.

Gotta love Armstrong's voice and let's-get-sucked-into-this writing.

Though I liked this book, I didn't feel this book was very distinct from others of it's genre, and there were many character deaths in which i found myself questioning how the character had been connected with the main character. That…

I love this series. The characters develop, the story lines don't stall...a perfect read by the fire.

J'ai découvert Bitten totalement par hasard et j'en suis enchantée! L'histoire est intéressante quoique l'action se fait attendre au début. Maintenant que j'ai lu le livre, j'écoute la série sur SPACE avec joie. La majorité de la série…

I felt that this was a bit slow in the beginning, but as the book went on I fell in love with the characters. Especially Elena, I love her strength and her attitude. I'm definitely interested in continuing this series!

I thought that the descriptions were great, but felt that the overall plot was lacking. For example, I know how Elena feels, but not really what she thinks.

I ISHED THAT THE LIBRARY WOULD LET US KNOW THAT THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK IN A SERIES AND SO FORTH IT WOULD SAVEA LOT OF LOOKING AROUND. I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT LIKE TO READ THE FIRST BOOK AND NOT START HALF WAY THROUGH A BOOK JUST TO…

Kelley Armstrong has a great talent for writing out of sequence events in a way that makes sense to the story. Her characters are really strong and her writing style is very spare and effective.

Absolutely could not put this book down. Loved it cover to cover. Starting to read the rest of the series and still loving it! I can't get the books fast enough!

I like this genre but can't seem to get into this series. I think I miss the humour that is found in similar series by Kat Richardson & Jennifer Rardin.

I was immediately hooked on Bitten and now have the rest of the Women of the Underworld put on hold. Armstrong easily created an urban world where werewolves aren’t so far-fetched. The time spent creating a hierarchy in the werewolf clan…

Recommend to read this series by a friend. I'll admit I wasn't sure I would be into it, but was clearly wrong as I was instantly hooked and am now completely addicted to the series. Love that with Kelley's roots in Ontario, that the main…
