This and the other books in the series are the best books on the planet. I would strongly recommend this series and all of N.D. Wilson's books. I would not recommend for younger children as it is very intense.

This book is a bit slower than the others, but if you want to get what's going on in the books that follow, you'd better read it. This is where the plot begins to get complicated. You thought they only had to worry about Phoenix, but no, there's more... Besides, John Smith is pretty cool!

Amazing series, though would prefer a little more character development but otherwise quite good. When a young boy and his twin sister are told they're heirs to a rich notorious thief in a notorious company. They're thrust into a world filled with magic and danger. Will him and his sister be able to uncover a plot that's been concocted against them to steal they're money or will they lose everything... Even their lives?
