As a companion book to stories of walking the Appalachian Trail, I thought this oversized photography book showing the Trail was amazing. As I read the journey of Bill Bryson in A Walk in the Woods, I was able to see what the landscape and trail was like in each state the 2,000+ trail traversed through. I recommend having this with books you are reading about the Trail.
