Too weird.

Bates Motel is one of the better shows they had on TV. It started to go downhill during season 4. In season 1 Norma is brutally raped in her kitchen and they discover a sex slavery ring being conducted in White Pines. If you can get past all the rampant abuse of women in this season, then season 2 gets much better. Season 3 was my favorite.

Well cast and the character development is devine. If you can get past the fact that the characters are living in our modern day and not in a time prior to Psycho you'll love it.
