There's something deliciously awesome about a bad shark movie!

Apr 02, 2017

The title of this movie is exactly what it seems. In Santa Monica, sharks have made their way into the sky and are now in tornadoes, absolutely traumatizing the city. A family and their friends take it upon themselves to put an end to this disaster and protect lives from being lost. Although unintentional, this movie is more of a comedy than an action-packed science fiction film, as the performances are questionable and the graphics are even more concerning. However, this movie will become the guilty pleasure that you will watch even though you know that technically it is not the best. I would rate this film 3/5 stars for its charm alone and recommend it to anyone in the mood to laugh. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library

Sharknado: The 4th Awakens is a purposely bad film that’s just bad. The special effects are terrible, the writing is terrible, and the acting is awful. Just like the other 3 films, it’s about a tornado with sharks in it. Fin Shepard, the hero in each film who destroys Sharknados is forced to defeat more Sharknados. As I said, it’s a purposely bad film. The issue with this film is that it tries too hard to be bad that it’s not even good at being bad. The entire series is repetitive and looks desperate to have a cult following. The series was only relevant in 2013 when the first movie came out. Since then, it has lost public interest. If you want to get into watching terrible movies, the entire Sharknado series is not the best start. Birdemic would be a better start than Sharknado.

As I understand it - The inept movie-team at "Ass"-sylum Productions purposely made Sharknado bad for a legitimate reason. And, after watching this heap of shark sh*t - I've come to the conclusion that the reason why they purposely made it bad was because they were totally incapable of making it good... (Ain't it the truth)

I mean - That's the only thing that explains to me why everything about Sharknado (directing, editing, acting, story-line, whatever) stank, big-time.

And, speaking about the cameo-appearance of veteran actor, John Heard, as the drunken lech, George - How fitting that this bloated, no-talent, has-been would end up appearing in such a crummy piece of movie-drivel as this.

Of course - At first - Heard's character was supposed to be viewed as being someone useful during the initial shark attack. But, in the long run - He was nothing more than pure shark-fodder, just like everyone else.

Anyway - With all that said - I cannot believe that those inept-one's at "Ass"-sylum Productions actually had the gall to make 3 sequels to this empty-headed rubbish.

This movie is supposed to be terrible! It's so terrible you can't help but laugh. If you were hoping for true horror, stop here. But if you want bad effects, terrible acting, and someone in the room constantly saying, "like that'd happen!", this is your movie. PS - There are 3 more Sharknado movies. If anything, watch for the cameos - you'd be surprised how many celebrities are willing to be eaten by sharks!

Fabulously awful. Reading the other comments, I can't imagine that anyone was really taking this movie seriously. Just from the title alone, I'd say it should be moved from the Horror genre to Comedy. I haven't laughed so much in a long time! This is now going to be a summertime movie tradition in my house.

So horrible in so many dimensions that it's hard to explain how terrible this movie is. Stay away.

Wow this was terrible. I stopped it half way through. I am not sure how they even thought of calling it a cult movie.. Puh-leese!!!

The movie deserves half a star because it is by far the worst movie I have ever seen. No joke, it was pathetically bad. Ive never seen anything this despicable and stupid. However, I loved it because of its stupidity. The acting was hilarious because it was so cheesy and lame. The storyline was *clears throat* awful. And the CGI and effects were worse than what I could do. However, do to all of this, the movie was hilarious. My friends and I were laughing so hard. The worst part of the film is the director was totally serious about making it a horror film. What an epic fail! So, watch this movie as a comedy and not a horror film and it is 100% guaranteed that you will crack up!

New school B movie with decent special effects. Crazy shark idea that was pretty fun. I appreciate the fact no one was holding a hand held camera while filming.
