A moste excellente Hamlet fanfic for ye olde Shakespeare buffs! This comedic tour-de-force mixes wordplay with swordplay, the existential with the ridiculous, and arrives at something both deeply profound and riotously entertaining. The movie has made me a lifelong fan of Tim Roth and Gary Oldman. Highly recommended in both print and movie versions! Statement!

Tom Stoppard is genius. The banter between Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two bit players from Hamlet, played by Gary Oldman and Tim Roth respectively is the highlight of the film. There are some bizarre moments in this, truth be told, but the charm and entertainment factor is certainly there. It will definitely make you re-evaluate your opinions on Hamlet, that's for sure.

The disk is in very bad shape. Probably time to replace this copy!

I've heard great reviews about this movie, but, unfortunately, this version does not come with subtitles/closed captioning. It was difficult to understand, and we stopped it 20 minutes in :(
