I was curious about this series of books so when I found this one at a local bookstore, I admittedly sat down and read it. Since it's a children's book, it only took a few minutes to read it all, but I was amazed at how much I learned. The story was simple enough for children to understand but complex enough to impress someone of my not so young age. The illustrations are very sweet and I love how Helen is drawn as a child. There is even a very short activity included involving Braile. I'm interested in reading more of these. I would highly recommend them to adults and kids alike.

My 2nd grader child enjoy this book a lot. It's autographical story that is very suitable for kids and adults. The story and the drawing are excellent.
