An ideal Book Club suggestion. The Invitations brought very thought provoking responses at the book club I recently attended. Although author is working 'in the Zen tradition', several group members were able to relate to Bible references, so content can apply to almost any tradition.

Subject is sensitively handled, and leads a person to consider how they might 'live well' or handle end-of-life issues (to live more mindful now).

I liked this book, so I went and purchased my own copy!
