Yes, it is a beautiful film and the actors were terrific - all of them. I would have rated it higher if: 1) Greenwald had toned down the music. Endless cello and cello/violin. Too much is too much and gets in the way. And 2) if the movie had a little more energy and tension.

A beautiful film to watch, with a thought-provoking story to remind us not to judge people by the color of their skin, not to listen to every sensationalized news release, and to question those who would tell us what is "right' and what is "wrong."

This stunning movie shows an accurate portrayal of the South in the year 1941 and has many lessons for people today who are interested in fighting and understanding prejudice and how the South reacted to it.
