Add a CommentGoshawks are awesome, but the same could be said for all the birds of prey.
Beautiful cinematography, but something felt off with the narration. It sounded ghost-written, even though it was delivered by Helen Macdonald in an apparently sincere way. Perhaps her writing works better on the page than spoken to camera.
Falconer and best selling author Helen Macdonald's enthusiasm for hawks and the goshawk in particular provides the perfect setup for a PBS Nature special. Incredible footage of the goshawk in the wild and insight into the long standing tradition of breeding and training the goshawk in captivity. A not to be missed Nature program.
