Good read. Some of the experiences in occupied France could have been elaborated on a little more and the last ten chapters could have been truncated. So was the co-pilot William Wallace (Chapter 44) or Warren Wilson as indicated under the group photo?

A great read. The writing style, in my opinion, comes across close to a elementary level book. I really did enjoy this amazing tale, but it could have been so much more. What these men went through, and thier helpers in Europe. Wow.

Amazing story. The context and drama could have been described better. It'll make a great movie someday.

This would make a great movie, the action is breath taking, the emotions are palpable, and it is true life. I have read lots of WW2 books but this one about American pilots that were shot down and each one making his way out of occupied France is really an epic. I am truly sorry that this really happened but these men are true heroes and were ready to jump back in as soon as they could, really amazing.
