I remember trying to read this a kid and not getting into to it. now many years later I read it and really enjoyed. I could see how the story might be slow for some but I really found the way they got so into there game quite interesting. It had some funny moments and some suspenseful ones too. some parts might come off a tad date to modern readers for example the term Negro is used in the book. My favorite character was Marshall.

The Egypt game was a really interesting book to read. I liked it a lot, however it may be confusing for younger kids, because there really is no pattern of time, the author might focus on one day, and make it last chapters, or the author sometimes focuses on a few days on one page. It was an awesome book, the author made the characters so realistic and believable, that sometimes you actually forget that they are fictional! I definitely wouldn't mind reading more books by the same author.

I remember reading this book unlike some of the other readers I did not enjoy this book, it was long and boring it took a while to get to the point. I put the book down because it was dragging and confusing

Fans of Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles series who really enjoy the Ancient Eyptian stuff may want to give this a try. It's a fun, creepy mystery. It starts off a bit slow, but it turns into a real page-turner at the end. It`s about kids coming up with a fun, interactive game about Egypt, but then, some weird things start actually happening.

I had to read this book at school for Language Arts and ended up really enjoying it! It reminds me of the imagining games I used to play all the time when I was little. (I still have my very vivid imagination)!
