Some might read for general information, maybe someone is losing hope, maybe nothing seems possible. One should read this to become aware; but, also, read more posititve tomes: Fantastic Voyage, The Singularity is Near, and others that show the extent of far-seeking efforts of science and others. Futility come about at times because lof a lack of knowledge, and hope.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/health/story/2013/04/22/mb-susan-griffiths-doctor-oks-assisted-suicide.html A fair introduction to eu(good) thantos (death); euthanasia. www.assistedsuicide.org http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2013/04/25/canadian_dies_of_doctorassisted_suicide_in_switzerland.html Bizarre methods of self-deliverance (authors term) and successful ways to end suffering are presented in laymans terms with warnings and with directions to assure one does not implicate innocents in this. The authors indicates his history of helping 3 people of his personal family; and at that point one has to ask whether that fact has bearing on the whole issue. People need hope, and sometimes its most difficult to find any; giving up the struggle though, may not be the only way. There's a section for professionals medical specialists as well.
