Add a CommentIn this book, the grumpy character’s last name is Worst, so “worst” is used throughout the entirety of the book. The plot is good as an accident causes Mr. Worst to attend a holiday party where afterwards (for only the last 2 pages) he loses some of his grumpiness; however, he specifies that it is only for Christmas. Although my 4 ½ year old daughter seemed to enjoy it, I believe that “worst” was used so much throughout the book, with only a few short positive lines at the end, that a small child may look more at the negative than the positive in the book.
