I wish I read Camille Paglia when I was sixteen. But even now, I admire her voice of strength, realism, and honesty. I can't agree more with her when she calls to look back into antiquity before we analyse modernity. She stresses the appreciation of Art and its need in academe and our everyday lives, something that is missing in North America.
