This is a delightful story that I had only seen portrayed in the movie. I couldn't help but put Rex Harrison and Gene Tierney in the book. The film was very true to the book, except for a couple of minor instances. It's a short book, with only 174 pages, and I was sad to see Lucia and Captain Daniel depart. But, I remember well the romance of that moment in the movie, so it was a bittersweet ending.
