This intriguing story is filled with interesting customs and unforgettable characters.

This is an awesome book about a kid named Seikei who wants to be a Samurai. But unfortunately, only sons of samurai can be samurai, and he's the son of a tea merchant, and so he is destined to become a tea merchant like his father.Everything in his life changes when he witnesses a theft, and is called upon by the Famous Judge Ooka to help investigate the case.

This is a really great story that explains a lot about Japanese history as well.
