The author of this book was present in the Koresh Compound until the end when he escaped. I would not recommend this book because the author fails to illuminate the rape of underage girls and the sexual abuse of other cult members. He fails to see the controlling way Koresh treated every human. Koresh was very manipulative and needed all those people to die to fulfill his idea of prophecy. There were many opportunities when cult members could have been released and Koresh wasted those and many, many people died because of this. It is truly a tragedy but this author has no perspective and still blindly accepts the teachings of Koresh.
