I'm five chapters into this book and so far it's all been about what is going on it the central character's head. I find it boring and I'm not sure I can hold on for the action that may come later. I prefer books with suspense and action, like Lee Child's books or James Rollins' books. However, I did enjoy Baldacci's book, "Absolute Power." I thought it was a better mix of the psychological insights into the characters and the resulting action.

Although I sometimes thought I knew where the story was going, there are so many twists and turns that I was never sure. The author has great use of language and imagery, and has a good balance of fast-paced action and descriptive prose. My first time reading Mr. Baldacci - off to find more!
