Add a CommentThis book has one of my favorite pieces from McSweeney's: an unused audio commentary on the LOTR: The Fellowship of The Ring extended edition boxed-set by Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky. Fantastic stuff.
I wanted to see what some McSweeney's material was like, since I read Eggers' 'Heartbreaking Work', and I guess I'm not surprised that I didn't care for most of these supposedly-humorous essays/lists/vingettes. There were some hidden gems, but overall, I don't think it was worth my time.
The some of the best of the odd humour stylings found at McSweeney's Internet Tendency.
hilariously funny
