This could have been an excellent embroidery book but it had one major flaw that followed throughout the book--ALL of the photos are shown with the same color thread as fabric. It starts with pink thread on pink fabric, very hard to see, and follows up with blue on blue, tan on tan, and green on green. There are two to three steps for each stitch, which for some stitches is not quite enough. The projects are all floral and ugly. So there really isn't anything to recommend about this book.

Similar to the readers digest book in that it shows the 'how to' on many stitches. I thought that the photo's of each 'how to' stitch were sometimes hard to follow.

This one has patterns that you may photocopy and pin or draw onto your work.

Will borrow again.
