VERY GOOD 1946 Warner Bros. color bio-pic of Cole Porter.
Yes, the biography has been fancifully fictionalized (as was common in this type of film), but overall it's quite entertaining with a great cast (Cary Grant, Alexis Smith, and more) and was also my introduction to super talented tap dancer Estelle Sloan in her brief dance sequences. I rate Estelle up their with also somewhat obscure Joan McCracken, another terrific dancer who I also just recently discovered in my exploration of 40's film musicals.
