Excellent illustrations and photographs about the milky way and andromeda galaxies for beginners. The books tells about the night sky, the invention of the telescope, the stars and the different types of galaxies that have been discovered. Time is spent talking about our galaxy and its parts. This book does not get into the planets and parts of our solar system; just about galaxies. Not a lot of text; large pictures; easy to read.
