Ugh! Couldn't agree more! I enjoy the Alex Delaware series; the plots are well-defined and focused. Kellerman is very descriptive of and stays true to each of his characters in the series, most of whom are quirky; and who doesn't love Sturgis?
'True Detectives' doesn't ring true of Kellerman's writing at all.
I also read it halfway through because I didn't have anything else on hand to read.
I'd feel very generous in rating this book with a 1.
A huge disappointment.

Had to put the book down halfway through. No action and quite boring.
