A tragic true story that is really well written and well researched. Four stars.

Great book. Although the crime was a gruesome one, the author does not rely completely on sensationalism to tell the story. In addition to fitting the bill for your standard true-crime fare, this book is an excellent study and critique of both the Iraq war and post-Katrina recovery in New Orleans.
