There are much better recipe books out there--"Classic Cooking from India" by Dharam Jit Singh comes to mind immediately. This book would serve more as inspiration for table decoration with an Indian flair. The recipes are not exactly very complicated, but have too many ingredients that are not readily available to the ordinary cook.
