Baker & Taylor
Presents easy, healthy recipes, including breakfast, pastries, soups, and entrees, and encourages readers to pass the recipes on to friends and relatives.

Cooking good food from scratch is a skill that can save you money, keep you healthy, and make you and your family and friends happy. What I've tried to do in this book is pick a whole load of meals that we all love to eat and break them down to make them as simple as possible. There are plenty of clear instructions and step-by-step pictures, so whether you're an accomplished cook or a complete beginner, you'll be able to enjoy cooking and achieve great results in the kitchen.

This book is inspired by all the people I've met who thought they could never and would never learn how to cook. I believe that good home cooking is one of the most essential, fundamental skills that every single person on this planet should have in order to look after themselves, their families, and their friends. This food revolution is all about people learning how to make a recipe, then teaching that recipe to their friends and family . . . if enough people do this, pretty soon everyone will be cooking. So cook something today, then PASS IT ON!

Loved the salads & easy homemade curry pastes.

This book is meant to make good cooking accessible to anyone. Jamie provides a great variety of recipes and simple instructions. Takes the intimidation out of cooking for rookies, and gives experienced cooks fool proof recipes to add to their repertoire.

I love most of Jamie Oliver's cookbooks, but this one was a little oversimplified for me. It's great that he's appealing to those people with very limited experience in the kitchen, however.

Jamie Oliver is a chef that always keeps track of whats in your food and where the food comes from. A very organic chef, his recipes are afordable and delicious.

I learned how to cook Indian and Thai curries from this book. There are also some great soup recipes - especially the sweet potato chorizo and cauliflower cheddar soup.

I bought this for my dad for father's day after taking it out from the library -- some seriously delicious recipes, and most of them are super easy. Includes an awesome curry section.

A good cookbook. I find we have to pick and choose a bit but we have found some real favorites in here.

Did you know that all of Jamie's recipes are up on his web site? Very helpful after you have to return the book!

Quite a few of these recipes have become regular week day meals. Yummy practical everyday dinners without the fluff. Love Jamie's approach.
