Got too fantastic for me by the end.

May 14, 2010

I was travelling in morocco and finished my novel, and spent an afternoon trying to find a bookstore with some english novels. when I found one, the options were 1) this book 2) the complete works of dan brown 2) a tale of two cities. I didn't want "heavy reading" (tale of 2 cities) and I don't like dan brown, so I picked this. URGH.

This book was so corny and cheesy and full of chiche's it was kind of painful to read. its totally not my genre either, so that is probably part of why i didn't like it. i didn't care, and if i hadn't had nothing else to read i dont' think i would have finished it.
