Following failed attempts to conceive, Jason and Cynthia are contemplating divorce. In an effort to save their marriage, they book a vacation to a couples therapy retreat, called Eden. To save money they encourage their friends to join them, claiming that their friends can enjoy the party activities and not take part in the therapy. Reluctantly their friends, Dave and Ronnie, Joey and Lucy, and recently divorced Shane and his girlfriend Trudy agree. Upon their arrival to Eden they are sent to the west side of the island, but Joey learns that the east side of the island hosts a singles resort. After their first therapy session all four couples learn they have problems with their relationships. Later, Shane runs into his ex-wife, who admits she still loves him.

Eh, it was ok. Has some good jokes, but overall not great. I laughed a couple of times.

Very good romantic comedy. The entire cast does a good job and has good chemistry and timing. Vaughn, Favs and Love reunite form Made and Bateman adds his great dry straight man sarcasm to the bundle. A bit cheesy at times, but overall well worth watching. ESPECIALLY if you can pass it off as a legit rom-com to the significant other.

Hilarious , feel good movie. Cast is great and characters are very likeable. Better than I thought.

A group of four couples from the Chicagoland area plan a trip to a paradise island called Eden. The group got a discounted rate; however, the couples must attend daily therapy sessions developed by a relationship guru. The couples must also cope with a very odd greeting host, relationship guru, couple therapists and a very friendly yoga instructor. Couples Retreat is a fun-filled comedy drama that has many funny moments as well as some sage advice for married couples.

Fun, mostly light movie, but with some kernels of real wisdom about marriage and relationships. Loved the yoga scene, loved the Guitar Hero scene, loved Sctanley period. Love the therapists but especially the one belonging to the main characters and the one with the couple who couldn't conceive ("arf!").

This is a great movie for couples to watch together. Humourous, but at the same time it makes a few good points about relationships!

Based on previous comments, I feel it may depend on where you are at in life as to how you may feel about it. This is my current favorite movie! My husband and I watch it over and over. I rank it right up there with Tommy Boy as a go-to comedy that will get me in a great mood. LOVE IT!!!!
