Another entry in the "Jane and..." series. more somber than some, and far more convoluted. Again a totally unexpected murderer! I don't know how she does it. Very satisfying, especially for fans of the series, but for anyone else as well.

A fun read with a descriptive setting. I truly enjoyed experiencing Jane Austen as a detective!

This is an excellent mystery series featuring Jane Austen. Twelfth in the series, it examines the period in English history very well.

There are a lot of possible suspects, but as usual, it is only at the end of the story that you find out "whodunit". From time to time there are footnotes referring to the real Jane Austens letters.
