The quest of a secret relic mixed with the complex relationship of politics and religion during the reign of King Henry VIII makes for a pretty interesting story althought I thought the writing lacked finesse.

A historical thriller that is part "Da Vinci Code" and part "The Other Boleyn Girl". A strong female protagonist, numerous twists and turns, plus lots of historical detail make for a great read.

A historical fiction thrill ride.

It's clearly a first novel. The writing is a little juvenile and strained, but it's a pretty good story and I enjoyed it as mind candy. Don't expect to get tot he real action too soon in the book thought. The stuff they write about on the jacket cover takes place pretty late in the story and is a lttle less than satisfying. I could have used a better, more conclusive ending as well, but can't have everything!
