Dark Aemilia

a Novel of Shakespeare's Dark Lady
Oct 29, 2014genepy rated this title 2 out of 5 stars
Aemilia fails to charm the reader because of her obtuse mind ,poor decisions , weak and flawed personality. Therefore she does not stand up to what Mrs O'Reilly would like us to believe her to have been: Shakespeare 's muse and the real author of Macbeth. The style is heavy and awkward ; however the atmosphere of the times is well rendered and the historical background is solid.
