All the Single Ladies

Unmarried Women and the Rise of An Independent Nation
Mar 05, 2017EmilyEm rated this title 3 out of 5 stars
Author interviewed scores of still single women in a growing American demographic, comparing them to earlier women in the first and second waves of feminism. I’ll admit to being part of the second wave so not perhaps this book’s primary audience. Sometimes the author celebrated her own New York City story a bit too much. While stories were sometimes interesting I had a hard time seeing what her point was. But, if the book inspires younger women to run for office or join efforts to make the changes still need for equality, I’m all for it. The Appendix has the laundry list of what still needs to happen!
