The Greenwich Art Connection

Art has always played an important role in the history of Greenwich. Cos Cob was known for its Art Colony from the 1890s to1920s. Residents have collected sculptures and paintings, and you can't travel around town without seeing beautiful architecture and sculptures. Drive around Greenwich Point in the summer, and you'll probably see an artist painting a colorful seascape. Here are some books to help you better understand our local connection to art.
